The Loogootee Lions suffered a setback last Thursday, Jan. 31 on the road at Orleans. LHS put together a nice first quarter to begin the game up 15-13, but the Bulldogs scored ten second-quarter points to just four for Loogootee to take a 23-19 halftime lead. The Lions were outscored 12-9 in the third, allowing Tom Bradley’s team to expand the margin to seven at 35-28. A slow start in the 4th period soon found LHS trailing by double figures. Loogootee (6-11, 1-4 in BCC) was finally able to put some points on the board in the latter stages of the game, but the deficit proved too much to overcome as Orleans (6-11, 0-4 in PLC) went on to win 58-46. The Lions hold a 52-15 lead in all-time series against the Bulldogs.
